Anyone ever look at using a macromate on a 60mm flat port (with extension ring to house a 105). This is an easy choice to travel with just 1 port to house both the 60 and 105. Unfortunately the macromate does not fit on the 60mm MF flat port, as the little metal hinge between the ring and the lens is too long for the small lip on the port. It seems like a trivial thing to fix.

Not seen or heard of these before, looks interesting though.
Thanks for posting.

Hi Cor, I might be wrong, but i think the reason why they havent release a macromate for the 60mm lenses is simply because the working distance will be too short.

Of course, but im not suggesting to use it with a 60mm lens. Just to use a 60mm port + extension ring, for a 105mm lens. On our last trip to PNG 2 people used this combination because it allows you to buy only 1 port for 2 lenses. I was surprised to find the macromate will not work with this combination simply because a small piece of metal is too large
I may just have a dozen or so machined. Luckily we do have a 105mm port, so I was able to use the macromate that Eric brought from backscatter for me.
