Howdy all, hope you all had a nice xmas.
I have messed around with many encoders over time but one that keeps impressing me is Mediacoder.
It outputs better and faster than QTpro, compressor and others for the PC that I have tried.
Its free to download, although finding the download link can be fun.
Its funny how a free encoder is better than commercial ones. 
So much so that some have been trying to copy the code into commercial products....lol
The speed and quality it encodes out different formats is amazing especially QT H.264
It will max out your multiprocessor 100% but you can back it off abit so your computer will not overheat or so you can do other things while its rendering.
It has many settings to tinker with so its not for the click on a single button crowd.
Anyhow wondering if anyone else has used it.
