Galapagos Recommendations

I want to go to Galapagos and am looking for recommendations...

1) which liveaboard? Agressor? Peter hughes?

2) what time of year is best to go? I hope to see whale sharks...

Can you still go on land here with a liveaboard, or is that no longer an option?

That would be my order. There's a new boat under construction Explorer but it isn't ready.

Best time to go is September, but August through Oct is good. July and November get action, but maybe not.

Yes I think, but check with each operator to verify.

Each boat begins and ends on different days of the week. They also have different itineraries. The Aggressor made us very angry last time. They wouldn't budge from their itinerary, which skipped the penguins and North Seymour.
