Great Housing & Camera

  1. I know this is probably not the right

    place for this post.

But many newbee's often ask for recommendations for cameras & housings.

I have a new post under classified section of the wetpixel forum.

I need to move this fast because I made

a deal on a new camera and I would like

Ike to make me a New housing right away. The new camera is a Fuji S1 Pro.

  2. Marc,

What lenses do you plan to use w/ your S1?

My buddy has one and he will let me borrow it to experiment with. They are going for as low as $1,300 or so on Ebay...almost the same price as a "prosumer" digicam...

    Cheers

    James

  3. Hi James,

I plan on buying a Sigma AF 15-30, F3.5-4.5 EX DG ASPHERICAL Lens

This is equivalent to 22.5 - 45mm lens

    on a 35mm film camera.

I'm not sure what you were saying about

    the cost . "$1,300".

If you ment the cost of the body of the camera, you were right.

Do you think it's a fare price for what I'm

selling my camera and Housing for ?

I know some people that paid alot more

for both their cameras & housings.

Full list on both the camera and the Housing is over $ 2,000 that doesn't

include the wide dome,19 mm len, lens adapters,

fast charger, two extra batteries that are

150 mah stronger than the one that came with it the camera.

My camera is only two months old and

the housing was made by Ike only late

    April .

It didn't get wet till mid May.

    I'm losing more than $500.00

That encludes the extras I bought.

What did you pay for your's?

    Marc

  4. I'm going to the Fuji S1 topic.

    Cya there!
