does anybody now what is the right extension ring for the Sigma 17-70 HSM with a D300 in a Sealux and Subal housing??

The Subal web site doesn't have anything listed for the 17-70 and D300. However, the recommended port/extension ring combination for the D200 (and 40D) is DP-FE2 plus 33mm extension ring. I would imagine it would be the same for the D300 as the extension rings from housing to housing (and camera to camera) don't seem to change with Subal housings.

Does Subal have a zoom gear ring for this lens?

I think Gudge has the right extension ring. There's a zoom gear as well, but it's also not listed on their website. I got both through my local guys, Marine Camera Dist., but I'm sure Backscatter or Reef will know as well.

Doesn't the extension ring depend on the dome port being used? The center of curvature of the dome must be properly located ref the lens. Different ports could require different ext rings.
