Tongue Parasite on Nemo

  1. Can you tell i am captioning images?

     

    How about the latin for this parasite?

  2. I exchanged emails with the author of the paper on the tongue replacing parasites. He said he couldn't identify the isopod without a specimen. There are lots of images of clownfish with the isopod where their tongue should be, but AFAIK no one has collected samples or reported them in the literature.

     

    Cymothoa sp, possibly Cymothoa exigua
