My wife and I will be on a cruise in the Caribbean next month. Our first stop is Aruba. We have been there before made a couple of dives and snorkled. This trip we just want to hang out on a nice beach that isn't overly crowded with minimal "sales people", you know, the locals who stand in the sun and try to sell you everything from hair extensions to cd's. We will want to get there and back to the ship by taxi. The cruise line does offer a couple of beach excursions, but they are expensive and only last a couple of hours.
Thanks, any and all recommendations will be appreciated.

There are only a few nice beaches there and all of them are together, mainly the high rise hotels area northwest side of the island (there is a reason for the good hotels had been placed there...). If you are driving and reach the lighthouse you pass them all. The other side of the island is more secluded but the beaches there suck. If you are travelling next month, remind that from feb 16 to 20, is carnival time my friend, so secluded beach is not an option anywhere on the caribbean.
