Inspired by the Your Favourite Photo of 2009 thread, which has some incredibly beautiful, jaw-dropping shots (Highly recommended read!). However, virtually all the submissions so far are of top-of-the-line DSLR setups with 2 strobes and the whole shebang. I'm thinking there is probably a lot of very impressive shots out there by our point & shoot / compact camera shooters, who might be intimidated in posting their photo amongst the big boys....so this particular thread here will be restricted solely to non-DSLR setups
I didn't shoot in 2009 so I have nothing to submit unfortunately, but I'm really interested in what others have to show...

I think you should merge these threads. For one thing there have been some pretty impressive P&S images displayed on WP this year, but also because I think the spirit of the thread is to show your favorite image, not necessarily the best ( though of course for some these will be the same). It's not a competitive thread at all, hope the P&S guys and newbies can appreciate that.
Part of the cool thing about the thread are the stories that go with the images.
