i had a bit of bad news the other week as someone managed to lift my camera bag......
unfortunately they managed to get away with all my tools and spares but most dissapointingly my trusty old 105mm macro..
but on the upside i have management permission to get a replacement
And this leads to my question..
I have an Aquatica housing setup and the port extension ring for the old 105 is it the same as for the new 105 or is there a difference in port ring size (length)?

You need 18453 for the new, not 18462, which is for the old.

i think you'll be fine, i actually use a shorter extension ring (not sure exact one, about a inch long) for the new 105mm as it doesn't extend when focusing. gets it super close to the port but that's a good thing. it should still work fine with the old longer one too.
