Nananu-i-ra Fiji

  1. Hey guys,

Doing a field trip for my marine ecology paper to Nananu-i-ra Island in Fiji, a few km off the northern tip of Vitu Levu!

I wanna know if anyone has been here and what they think! The problem is is everywhere in Fiji thinks they're the best diving on the planet!

    Cheers

In addition to this, what does everyone think of the diving (Nature-wise) in Belize, Bay Islands (Hon), Corn, CR and Panama?

    Cheers again:D

  2. Hi, in 2008 I dived with Kai Viti Divers who took us to sites near Nananu-i-ra. Lovely sites teeming with life. After two days with Kai Viti Divers, staying at the Wananavu Resort I boarded the Nai'a and we dived the Bligh water. Fabulous reefs, so many fish, so much colour.

Hope this is of some help.

  3. My trip was in 2006. I also dived with Kai Viti Divers. From what I have heard, they are no longer in operation. I'm told that Ra Divers is the current operator there.

Of the places I've been, Fiji is the most colorful. If there is a place I would like to visit, it's Raja Ampat. I'm not sure how their soft corals compare, but I have seen incredible images of the mangroves and bizarre reef creatures. If you go to Honduras, there is an opportunity to go down in a submarine up to 2000 feet.

This is a 17 second clip I took at a site called G6.

both operators were then when i was in Fiji. And we'd heard that Kai Viti were better, but I don't know where i heard that.
