shark attacks kite boarder

tragic event .. but lets pick out a few key phrases in that report
1. A man has been killed in a rare mass shark attack
- makes it sounds like a brutal savage attack of 10's of sharks on one man
2. After he was brought back to shore, rescue workers performed CPR
- so this MASS ATTACK actually left him in tact enough to be brought back and bother to do CPR ..
3. Sharks have been gathering along Palm Beach County beaches recently, in their annual chase of baitfish
- so the sharks are there feeding anyway .. and this guy was kite surfing in the area.
it's funny .. i always wonder .. if the guy jumped in a shark aquarium at feeding time and got munched .. would anyone stop to think .. that was dumb ??
To be fair apart from a few key words it is a probably just factual report of the event .. shame it couldn't be just factual rather than a rare mass shark attack why not 'man kite surfed into feeding sharks'

I personally don't see anything wrong with the story but it's sure is crazy. My family has a place in Naples on the Gulf and when we were there in November there were tons of bait fish and everything chasing them, fishermen, sharks, birds, dolphins etc. A neighbor landed a 5 foot bull shark one afternoon. We stopped swimming at that point. It was too chaotic in the water. But it made for some wonderful bird photography. The osprey were off the hook. We were almost getting hit by osprey diving at fish right on shore. It was cool.

Very very unfortunate. The latest reports indicate it was probably a single shark, a bull or tiger around 8 ft. It bit this guy in the back and thigh. He had bruises on his arms trying to defend himself. The shark bit once and came back again, which is not your typical Florida shark "attack" (hit and run). Medical examiner's report is due today with likely id of the shark. It has been pretty sharky over here lately, with frequent beach closures and lots of cool sightings on the reefs.
