  1. Apparently others have sighted this critter in the past week or so. Several sightings have been at Phil Foster Park, Lake Worth Lagoon. My critter was approx 3-4" x 1/2" slowly pulsing and undulating until it met it's dimise by several sand perch at PFP in 12' water. Aonther one was sighted in the upper water column at 15-20' in 70' of water outside the lake worth inlet.

     

    Some say it is either a juvenile larva state of an eel or a Venus' Girdle

  2. There is another post here showing a similar critter - which is a juvenile eel.

  3. Yep, an eel larva, called a Leptocephalus.
