Oly Wideangle lens for E-1

Hi Gang,

Oly have announced a WA lens for the E-1 with a 35mm equivalent of 22-44mm.

And the DPreview announcement:

It's an F2.8-3.5 lens - so will probably be $$$$. Oly says their new lenses will be available in 2004 with more to come in 2005.

Cheers

James

Hi!

There's another very promising lens announced for the E1! Olympus have a coarse time line on the Japanese homepage where more lenses are announced. It looks as if they plan to release something about 7-14mm (14-28mm SLR) in 2004 and a few more lenses in 2005.

I'll try to house the E1 -- maybe a first test happens tonight!
