Ha ha! Nice one Steve, and Happy Birthday for yesterday btw!
He, he!
Good job Steve; chug down a few birthday beers to wet the gills.
Thanks guys. Great idea about the beers. Night diving with Tigers Paul?
That's beyond the fiasco factor limit for me.
Just for the record the shot above is straight from the camera too.
Cheers,
Steve

It may or may not have been a first for Jim - but you know Jim - he comes over all enthusiastic for the Wetpixel trips....
It seemed rude not to participate - but I did notice Alex stayed dry........

Has to be the best so far Bruce.

I call it my megoladon shot.

Though to be fair Bruce at first I thought that some of the lower jaw had been manipulated (deleted) and some leg added back in on the starboard side of the diver.
Now, after taking a pixel peeping view - if it was then it was a hell of a good job.
So - you can tell us - no one is listening - was this wolf er- sorry, Galeocerdo cuvier trained in any way at all ? - this was a proper 'wild' animal and not one that you kept chained up in the yard and trained
with chunks of tuna ?
We wouldn't want an unnecessary disqualification - after all Steve is fronting the two week live aboard prize to any destination in the world that you desire.......

As always one must read the fine print. I of course would get unlimited copyright of the winning image. The "liveaboard" is actually a six ft inflatable floating in my pool. (beverages are not included) And the winner ;-) might actually receive the prize two or three years from now (after lengthy legal proceedings.
Cheers,
Steve

No problem so far...

In Tucson that is probably quite OK - I like AZ having spent some 'hard time' working in Sedona,
my boss never quite figured out how it took me so long to finish on that one - managed to drag it out for three years off and on.

mmmmm things are going downhill fast - going legal in AZ was never a highlight option.
Can I just have my entrance fee back then ?

Paul - Frankly, that's what caught my eye when looking through my photos from that trip - it really looks like the mouth is exactly "around" (down to a few pixels) the diver - split second luck...no skill involved in that shot I assure you!
As for the prize, as attractive as that sounds, Steve, if I win, I'm afraid I'll have to put it in the classified section and sell it off to help finance my next trip...shall we start the bidding at one dollar? One dollar...do I hear one dollar? How about 50 cents? Do I hear 50 cents?.......... ![]()
