    Drew I dive sidemount and Its not uncomfortable at all and im actually more stable in the water as the set up will roll you back to flat even after you roll. my tanks are set up so that they valves are a below the level of my armpits so i have a full range of motion in the arms and I have a clean chest as well. Now if Im diving tech and and carrying multiple deco bottles then things get a little tighter but not that bad and I can still move around to shoot.

     

    The diver in the video must have had tanks under 1500 psi as alum 80s tend to float at that point. This is why i put a weight on each tank if im carrying that much extra lead as last august i was in 8mm of neoprene and only needed 6 lbs of lead(they were strapped to the tanks) and I had to alum 80s and 2 alum 40s clipped on and still was negative at the end of the dive, and all those tanks were positively buoyant at that point.
