Fake flash strobe

  1. Do any body have or planing to make a adapter to the Canon(without intern strobe) so we can go for optic transfer to the strobes?

There must be a easy way to make a fake one with a light diode or something, so the camera thinks it has a strobe with ETTL.

For which Canon camera are you trying to get eTTL flash control via fiber optics?

Canon 5DmkII in a Aquatica housing.

I just thinking to replace my electric cables with optic ones. But this is not so easy because I have none intern flash on the camera.

It not the eTTL that I'm after but just go over to optic wiring.

  4. Zillion has a manual optical system that somewhat works with the 5D2. It requires a lot of work to put it in and you also have to make sure you have a strobe that can figure out which signal is preflash and which is the firing one like the Z240 Inon.
