Close Ben, but wrong one... Herb's has lumps on!
Here's a front view of the pink with his little friend the black leaf fish...

Wow!!! Todd. Herb, and Bob - your shots are of the same subject sitting on the same background - but WHOA are they ever different.
Very cool.
Cheers

Is Herb's first one a Warty one? Which is mine then?
-
I think taken at different times. I beleive mine was taken in the evening vs late day.
That's it I'm not posting anymore images you guys keep adding a second subject, Bob! Alla, Herb, I'll take your one pinkie and add a yellow...I think yellow, enjoy.
And, I only have about 12 of my shots at the office to choose from. Or, maybe I have one.
-
I think yours is just a white one with trim Ben!
All my warty-pinks are on film so cannot post until next week, also the yellow version + All 3 clown varieties, including the brilliant yellow. Only took the Striated, and giant yellow (two types) on digital.

BTW: Was it just me who got a blue one?

Really weird-looking fish, but great photography!

Straight from my blog:
Front

Side

And with his friend the leaffish. Notice how relaxed is the frogfish with the fin of the leaffish straight in his face !

... Herb, I'll take your one pinkie and add a yellow...I think yellow, enjoy.
I'll see your two and raise you one

Sorry I couldn't resist.

"Do I hear 'Four' anywhere?"

You said weird-looking jimbo1946 ?
What do you think of this hairy one,... good looking
? -
Closer...

By the way, I've got a question about these hairy frogfish shots... I made a mistake positionning the strobe, and the background is not dark enough, then the contrast is not sufficient. The same subject shot by Herb is really better (see http://wetpixel.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3541)
Is there any tip to darken the background of this shot with Photoshop in order to enhance the frogfish contrast? I considered using the "lasso" around the fish, and darken the background... but selecting the shape of this hairy critter is a real nightmare!!

Ben,
Using Photoshop:
Add a new layer, set that layer's blend mode to overlay, then paint areas to be darkened with a black brush or lightened with a white brush. Don't forget to adjust the brush flow and opacity.
Good luck
