Turning strobes off from camera

1 posts
  1. I have an A700 in an Ikelite underwater housing which has TTL support for two external DS- 160 strobes on long arms. I want to be able to disable the flash sometimes without having to reach over to each strobe and switch them off individually which is difficult to do.

Is there a way to use the controls on my Sony A700 to disable the flash like almost every point and shoot camera has? If there is I can't find it. Sometimes on long shots the strobes just add back scatter.

I wish the TTL support on the Ikelite underwater housing would do more then toggle between TTL and manual. It should have three options, TTL, Manual, and OFF.

    Cheers,
