hello I'm newbies on underwater photography and i'm looking for some advice.

The subject : Alicia Mirabils, It's a Cnidaria as jellyfish, so never touch this animal :(. I don't know if Alicia mirabilis could be found somewhere else as Mediterranean Sea ? The particularity of this species is to be pack down the day and erect the night (he hunts the night with his tentacles).

The pictures were taken with an Olympus C4040 in a PT-010, for the light it was an halogen lamp of 50 Watt

  2. Hi coco,

I'm a newbie as well, but both are great shots and I like them!

Perhaps you can delete some of the backscatter in the second shot by using Photoshop or a similar program. I would crop the second image because there is a little bit to much black on the left side.

But I love the shots and would be proud of them - especially as a newbie.
