Things were real busy once back home and I just started seriously converting RAW images. This was a turtle shot at Darwin out in the blue looking for Whale Sharks. The turtle began to turn away then came right at the dome port thinking it was a jellyfish or something.
Shot with Fuji s2 and 12-24DX lens w/ single DS-125

Really nice, a great engaging shot of a turtle
Do you have others where the flipper is well in the frame?
Lndr,
Here's another one. I like the diver in the corner.

I think the second shot is MUCH better. I like the curious look on the turtle's face, and the composition is better. I would recommend trying to clean up some of the gunk in the blue background.
Cheers

I like the first shot. here's my reasons why ...
* Lighting. The lighting on the face, fading off on the flippers focuses the viewer on the head of the turtle
* Eye contact. This really engages the viewer and in combination with the lighting (above point) this really grabs and holds the viewers attention.
* No distractions. With a subject is so engaging you don't want the viewer to be distracted by "road-kill" in the back corner.
... if only the turtle was a little higher in the frame ... then the flipper wouldn't be sooo close to the edge ... then you would also have a strong corner-to-corner diagonal composition and IMHO this would be a kick-arse shot!
