where to go and stay in hawaii

planning a trip to hawaii with my friend and have no idea where to go or stay. which islands offer the best diving also which ones offer the best nightlife. traveling with a non diver. which hotels are the sweetest?

The big island has night dives with lights and Manta's on the Kona side...quite popular.

Kauai has the potential for 'forbidden island' dives in summer and maybe with diving Monk seals.

Big Island(Kona) has probably the better diving
