Sea and Sea 5D MK II rig for sale

14 posts
  1. Selling my S&S 5D MK II rig as soon as I get back from a quick trip to the Bahamas and Tiger Beach...around April 25.

Would like to sell the whole rig to one person....I know that rarely works, but less hassle for me equals a better deal for you....the buyer.

    I have:

    (2) 5D MK II camera bodies (the original bought 8/09 and the backup maybe a few months ago)

S&S MDX 5D MK II Housing...excellent condition also purchased 8/09.

    (2) S&S YS-250's with extra batteries purchased 4/09.

Canon fisheye lens EF 15mm 1:2.8....purchased 8/09....Magic filters included

    Canon 16-35 1:2.8 L II USM lens w/ +2 diopter and zoom gear....ditto date...Magic filters included

    Canon 100mm macro 1:2.8 lens USM....ditto 8/09

    Standard macro flat port

NX Fisheye dome port...excellent condition unless I use it for Lemon snaps...we'll see what happens.

Extensions rings...20mm and 40mm I believe.....works with all the above.

    Extra o-rings, etc.

I haven't priced all the "used" equipment, but am looking for offers.

Reason for selling....decided to go to the cropped sensor.....7D with Nauticam...just being honest.

It's a great rig for someone looking to go to full frame.

Just priced it new using B&H and Backscatters prices....$15,400 new is what I came up with. Will part with the whole rig for $12k.....of course OBO.

Serious buyers only please and preferably located in the USA, but of course International buyers are welcome as well....just tend to be a little more complicated from what I hear....no offense!

Feel free to PM me at mw_powell@hotmail.com...I will be on a couple of trips between April 17 - May 5 without internet access, but will get back to you ASAP in between and after those trips.

    Thanks!

    Mike
