isla guadalupe

who is the best group to go with. is it true that no boats chum any longer? any other advice would be great. thanks a lot.

I was in Guadalupe last September with Nautilus. It is illegal to chum/bait the sharks... however Nautilus takes bags of fish heads down in the submersible cages with them. You will still see plenty of sharks, however you won't see any sharks ramming the cages like 'shark week' portrays. Nautilus offered a good dive experience but the boat was a little old. I saw Aggressor has a boat in the area now and is offering good prices for the first year. From comparing the boat/staff of my Turks and Caicos Aggressor trip to the Nautilus trip, Aggressors are way nicer.

P.S. Another boat at Guadalupe was busted by the Mexican Navy while we were at the island, so I bet all the dive boats chum to some extents...
