I’ve been trying to capture one decent picture of this Neon Goby for sometime. My shutter speed tops out at 60th of a second when I’m in TTL mode. This guy stood till and said cheese.

Shutter speed: 1/64.00
F-stop: 19.0
ISO speed: 100
Focal length: 89.0000
Light source: Single SB 104
Marc,
What camera are you using? You should be able to get better than 1/60th unless you are using a Nikonos or something I would think.
Cheers
James
Hi James,
I’m still using my Fuji S2 Pro in aperture priority mode.
Marc
Ah, that's cool.
Set the camera to M and set your aperture to whatever you desire and your shutterspeed to 1/125th.
In A, the camera sets the speed depending on available light - so naturally at f22, it will choose the slowest speed - which is limited to a slowest speed 1/60th with flash connected. The fastest you can sync is 1/125th.
I hope that helps you get some of the shots you were missing.
