  1. Gates Housing + Gates Monitor + Sony VX2000 System

Gates Housing for the Sony VX2000 / VX2100

I bought this housing used a few years ago after it was fully serviced and checked at the Gates factory. I put about 10 hours on it, but still photography is my first love and this unit ended up sitting on the shelf. It has been stored for the last two years in a sealed plastic bin with the housing open and the primary o-rings removed. I have greased the o-rings every 3 months to keep them fresh. This unit also comes with the Gates EM253 external monitor and the following:

    - Gates Manuals for the housing and monitor

    - Screw on diopter lens for the Sony camera

    - Handles and brackets with ball adapters ready for light attachment

    - Standard Port

    - Flat / macro Port

    Sony DCR-VX2000 Camera

While not an HD camera the VX2000 is still considered one of the best low light video cameras around and is still widely used for underwater imaging. This camera was purchased new and has less than 10 hours of use on it and all in the underwater housing, so the unit is in pristine condition. The camera comes with all of the accessories supplied in the basic camera package from Sony:

    - Camera

    - Standard Battery

    - Battery Charger

    - Manual

    - Remote

    - 3 x Panasonic brand 90 min Mini DV tapes

Asking $2,250.00 USD, but all reasonable offers considered. Buyer pays actual shipping costs including insurance if requested. Pictures on request. Direct e-mail is the quicker way to reach me.
