Made it down to Swanage Pier today to get a dive in before I go away in 2 weeks. My fiorst dive in a year and only my 3rd dive in the UK so didnt take many pics. Was a good dive with 3-5 meters of vis and the water was 13deg!
Here are a few shots I took, was impressed with the quality, I didnt really adjust any settings all shot on manual mode with my two strobes:-
Hi Mark,
You got some nice shots there, I dived there today it was quite bad viz, so much plankton in the water there were loads of spider crabs about but a bit of swell so the macro shots were tricky. Where are you off to on holiday?
Tristan
Hi Tristan,
We were in at 9.30 so perhaps we caught it before it got too churned up, there were a lot of divers around when we came out. I was suprised how many spider crabs there was around...!
Im off to Nuwebia in Egypt, id booked prior to Martin's new book coming out and it looks like a fair few of the pictures in his book are taken where im going so im hopeful thats a good sign...!
Cheers,
Mark
Have fun out there, it is somewhere that I would like to visit, it seems like the diving is a bit more chilled and after the last 3 liveaboards I would quite like to do a bit of shore diving. If you fancy a dive at the pier, or anywhere else for that matter, when you get back, let me know.
