It was my great privilege to spend the last week in Puerto Vallarta diving with nudibranch expert Alicia Hermosillo on her home turf. In 6 days of diving we found 64 species of opisthobranchs (a far cry from the 400+ her expedition with Terry Gosliner, et. al. to the Philippines found last month but still very good for the Eastern Pacific). We also found quite a few frogfish and lots of other interesting macro subjects. A link to the full gallery is at the end of the post.
