  1. I've just spent two fantastic weeks on MV Snapdragon. The way the trips are structured makes them really productive for photographers.

Many thanks to Pete and Duncan (DuncanS)

  2. Liking the 2nd to last. Reminds me of AM's beatle shot. I see Dunc's shots yesterday. Looks like you guys had a great time. I will be out there next year for a weeks trip. I just love the idea of being so flexible with the itinerary.

  7. Those are some great pictures; I really like the shipwreck. We have a trip to the Red Sea and it has the most spectacular diving and is always a favorite! If anyone gets a chance to go there, jump on the opportunity.

  10. Thanks, Adam!

How far south did you get? The caves and large fish don't look like Sinai or Abu Nuhas, and I couldn't recognise any images from Ras Mohammed, so I'm intrigued by your journey...

You like light, naturally exposed backgrounds rather than the contrasty, flash dominated dark-water style that David Doubilet used in Sinai with film: do you think that it works? On my screen it results in some of the water looking very over-exposed, and to my eye some of the wonderful coral heads with soft coral and glassfish have less impact than they could have.

Caves are Jackfish Alley in Ras Mo.

Week 2, Ras Gamilla, Tiran, Anemone City / Shark Reef, jackfish alley, Alternatives, Kingston, Thistle, Small Crack
