wellcome critics and impressions

  1. I am new in the art of photography.

Last year was a good year and I finally took the step to buy a begginer's camera and start shooting.

Since the last 8 months I live in a very small island and after work or on my day off, there is what your imagination brings up to entertain you. Since then I have been reading and practising with your advices.

It has been one of the greatest and rewarding feelings to be UW and float around the reefs in the quest of catching the light, playing and trying to understand it.

    Thank you all!!

I just put my first album and would wellcome all your critics and opinions about the pictures of your interest. Have a look and let me know about your impressions and recomendations.

  2. I think that is a great start for your first foray into underwater shooting. You seem to be working to control and specifically focus the light, well done.

I`m using a g10 canon with canon housing.

Most of the shots are iluminated by an independent dive torch that I hold with my hand on the side (MB SUB - BASE. It is a 20W halogen HLX), so I can light only the part that interest me, but many times I mess the shot be cause I move a bit or I need both hands to change some of the settings in the camera.
