I will be traveling to Nafpaktos, Greece, with hopefully a side trip to Zakynthos, in mid to late September of this year.
I have been able to find some information regarding diving in Greece, but would like to hear any first hand recommendations and opinions from my fellow underwater photographers here on Wetpixel.
Are there any special requirements that I should be made aware of? What was your best dive experience? Anything of special significance that I should look for when diving? Will the dive operators be fully booked at this time of year? Multi-lingual dive operators?
I understand a 5mm wetsuit is recommended for diving this area. Other than converting from yoke to DIN fittings, is there any other adjustments to my equipment I should be aware of?
While I will primarily be in the Nafpaktos area, I am really looking forward to diving Zakynthos, as I had such a wonderful time on my first (non-diving) trip to the island.
