  1. Hi Guys,

got a question regarding Nauticam 7d housing. In configuration with tokina 10-17, is 8.5" dome + extension ring 20 the only option ?

    thanks!

    Hi Greg,

    There are several more options:

    - Zen 100mm fisheye dome - glass, this is the smallest dome available for Nauticam, weighs less than a pound for travel, allows greater CFWA reproduction. Only useful with fisheye lenses like 10-17 (or 10.5 on Nikon)

    - Zen 200mm universal dome - glass, useful for this and many other lenses, example 10-22.

    - Nauticam 9" optical dome - glass, largest dome, useful for over/under shooting. Intended for demanding lenses like 16-35 on full frame, or 8-16 on cropped.

    - Zen 230mm super dome - glass, largest dome, useful for over/under shooting. Larger domes yield sharper corners. Intended for demanding lenses like 16-35 on full frame, or 8-16 on cropped.

    - Nauticam 8.5" White Balance dome - acrylic, with white balance iris built in

I would shoot all of these with the 20mm extension, except the WB dome which would use a 10mm extension. With the Nauticam port adapters, other domes would be possible too.
