Crab from Myanmar

Anyone know what this crab is? Some fishermen in Myanmar gave it to us.

Poor little guy, so awkward looking out of the water. Ranina ranina, called the frog crab or spanner crab. It's actually pretty common & is commercially fished in Australia & around the IP.

Ah, I had this one down as Ranina ranina, but it looks quite different: http://www.oceanfootage.com/video_clips/NH08_746. Do you think that's Ranina ranina too?

No wonder you were confused. The mating pair are a species of Calappa (now if I were a real crab person I'd know which species without having to look it up )

Thanks Leslie. Had a bit of a hunt but it'll have to be Calappa sp. for now.
