Dominica juvenile "The Thing"??

Found at 15 feet on a mooring rope (gotta do something for 3 minutes, right?)

This was about 3-4 inches long. Sorry, not the best picture, too many things moving.

Only 3 minutes? You mean you wasted the rest of the dive on slugs & other junk when you could have been photographing polychaetes? That's almost as bad as photographing whales & sharks!

Nice shot though. It's rare to see one of these outside its burrow.

It's a eunicid polychaete right Leslie? aka Atlantic "bobbitt worm"

Yes, and genus Eunice. If I ever get my hands on one I'll be able to tell you what species as well.
