I curious what the feedback on these photos will be, knowing the saying that one should always get closer to your subject. For me the enviroment at this site is very nice and wanted to show case the sharks in their enviroment in these photos.
All C&C welcome.
So eerie! I like it. 1 and 3 the most.
Thanks dave-o, and you r right, dives here can lean towards the eerie side, but so enjoyable:)

Cool stuff. Definitely prefer the 3rd one which does the shark justice while still showing the environment. That is a great shot. I think the blown highlights on the sunball in the first one are a bit distracting but it's a tough capture with all that contrast. Second shot is a bit of a case of south end of a north-bound shark but still interesting.

Thank you Clinton for the C&C.
I agree totally on the blown highlight but am struggling to rectify it. The dive was late afternoon (4pm and its winter time over here so i was hoping the sun would have been "weaker"), the water was on the green side with a fare amount of particles, so I used ISO 400, to get reasonable exposures for the enviroment. The down side is that the sun is blown completely. (if i where to expose for the sun, the enviroment will be just about black).
One solution would be to have the sun out side of the frame, but so hope I can find another solution.
very nice, great looking shark!
Agreed that the environment adds so much!
Love #3!
The environment looks very similar to my home turf in Northern California.
Great photos, The environment adds a nice touch to it.
