Seals in the Farnes

  1. Managed to get to the Farnes, oh man, seal soup, 4500 seals in one huge colony! 12 degree water but so worth it! All these were taken with the 7D in a Nauticam housing with the 100mm zen dome port and the Tokina 10-17. I have not seen any issues with soft corners even at very open apertures.

  2. Looks like fantastic fun. Weather doesn't look like it was too cooperative.

  3. No, overcast both mornings, blue in the afternoons, were we diving in the afternoons? No.

  4. there doesn't seem to be a foot attached to that fin, at least a human one

Is there any shark action there at all with such a large population of pinnipeds?

  5.

They are all great poses - a bit of sun would have made all the difference to the backgrounds - would have stopped the surface whiting out.

The Snell's window shot is really original.

  6. La dernière est fantastique !!!

    Congratulations

  8. Wonderful pics.

They remind me of my Golden Retreiver. She places her paw on your foot and gives the same look as your first pic.

You get the roll over and rub my tummy with teeth showing look as well, just like your 3rd pic.

And the second pic just shouts..."Wanna play with me?"

    Looks like a wonderful time.
