I hesitate to post to this forum given the amazing quality of photography I've seen here, but I got a couple of interesting shots in Palau. Heavy caveats...I don't have a housing for my EOS Rebel yet, so these are captures off my video rig.
Input greatly appreciated.
Hi
is the first picture from the famous Jellyfish Lake ?
did you see any shrimps or other crustaceans in this lake ? it seems to have a very interesting fauna (although it is quite poor in species)

The first picture is from Jellyfish Lake. I spend some time in the mangrove roots looking for small stuff, but didn't see any shrimp. I did get some video of the white tube anenomes that grow there and the schools of cardinals that hang out there, but that was about it. Lots of sponge growth, but in all, low bio-diversity. There are now at least 2 additional species of jellyfish in the lake, both of which sting btw. I got one on video and have sent a pic off to get it identified. I was told that they had come in on somebodies gear, which seems unlikely, but who knows.
