........at least on the internet.
And you can help me understand what formats I want to use for this type of presentation.
Attached is a url to a test web page of mine: http://www.tomandginnie.com/lalati_slideshow.html
The page has a slideshow of underwater pictures from Beqa Lagoon taken this August while we stayed at Lalati Resort.
The slideshow is in three formats.
The largest format is a 1080P Windows Media Player format (WMV). You must install WMP and it takes time to downlod but, from a photographer's perspective, is the only way I'd want to view the pics.
The second format is Adobe Flash. It is in 640 x480 mode and is streamed from my website. Once Flash is loaded this version works well.
The third is on Youtube. It is an unlisted video in mpg4. Youtube can be viewed full screen but the resolution is nowhere near 1080P.
If you view one or more of these files, please email me with answers to these questions:
1-Were the pictures properly exposed; or were they too light or too dark.
2-Which format did you watch and why.
3-If you tried WMF and/or Flash how difficult was the download?
I understand that the actual slideshow has many flaws. This is just a test file to gage how a slideshow in these formats play on others computers and hom much trouble people will go through to view a higher resolution show.
