  1. I was about to order 2 Sea&Sea YS-110a when i saw that the more compact YS-01 had almost the same features, except that is has no 5-pin connector.

    Sea&Sea claims that it could be used with DSLR:s as well, but how is that possible with a fiber optic cable?

    Yes, with the fiber optic cable (like the Inon s2000, optical only). If your housing lets you open the flash and has a FO port it should be easy.
