D90 Shutter release button

I have read other posts with other members with a D90 in an aquatica housing and different temporary fixes. it seems that the shutter release lever strikes a little off centre. Is there a permanent fix?

My D90 body is of to Nikon today to have it replaced under warranty but i am concerned that it will happen again?

Any help would be appreciated!!
