Want to use Canon flashgun with Sea and Sea Housing

Hi guys
I have just upgraded my 10Bar housing to a RDX450 housing. I also had a canon 580EX in a 10Bar housing which was fantastic. stick it on e-TTL and get the right exposure 99% of the time, but with full manual control when you want it. i would now like to connect it up to my sea and sea housing and still enjoy e-TTL without spending hundreds on a bulky E-TTL adaptor and a strobe.
the ideal solution would be to convert the 10bar flashgun housing to an S6 connector so that i don't touch the new housing. does anyone know where/how i could get a sea and sea S6 connector? I don't imagine sea and sea are going to be keen to help me avoid buying there products.
the next best would be a custom made cable. does anyone know of UK or Europe based companies that can do it?
anyone had something similar done and how well did it work?

You can get a Subtronic S6 connector kit. I'm sure places like Ocean Optics should have them.
Alternatively if you don't want to change the housing connector, you could check to see if you can find a S&S N6 connector for the 10 Bar.
Thanks drew
It might just be easier to replace all the connectors as Sea and Sea don't seem to sell a s6 cable that i can find. i'd rather have a system that i can get of the shelf spares for instead of getting custom bit's made. i'm seriously thinking of just getting an optical strobe and see how well it works first. it can always become a second strobe later.

Easiest thing to do would be to buy an optical strobe.
Second easiest thing to do would be to replace the Sea & Sea 6 Pin bulkhead on the housing with S6 using parts from Subtronic or 10 Bar. This will require a fair bit of custom work, though, as the housing is not threaded m14 as the bulkheads are.
Thanks Ryan
yeah if it involved modifiying the housing at all i would be getting it done professionally. An optical strobe would definatly be easier but i really like the canon flashgun perfect E-TTL but also fantastic manual control with things like exposure comp and bracketing and a recycle time that i don't think any strobe can match. don't know how it compares powerwise to a proper strobe but it's always been powerful enough for me even in caves and night diving. if i could get it working i would be looking to buy a second one. to be honest it's the best part of my current 10bar setup.
