Guys, whoever has some videos done by this camera, can you post them to this thread and let me know what housing and especially what lens/port did you use?
At best, is there anyone who used PATIMA housing for XR550 with Inon UWL-100 lens ?

This guy shoots an XR-500 with the Patima and Inon UWL-100. http://vimeo.com/11144330
Yup I found that one, but Patima claims she has a housing for 550 too, and since 550 has a far more wide lens than 500, I wonder what the results look like and whether there is some vignetting, soft edges etc.
Here is a video I shot back in May while I was in Belize, it was the first time I used the CX550 and this was my first edited project. There is a little bit of
underwater footage towards of the middle of the clip, the weather didn't cooperate while we were there so I didn't get to really put it through it's paces.
The housing I use since I only snorkel was the Sony Marine Pack. I am fairly new to underwater videography so I haven't invested in
the best equipment yet. I found this housing works ok but I had to add 4 pounds of dive weight to make it neutral.

The top 2 videos on the left hand side of my main web page: http://www.peterwalker.com/peterwalker.com/Menu.html were both shot with a 550 in a L&M Bluefin 550 housing using the Fathom 90 lens.
The camcorder is good but the WB takes some getting used to.

I have uploaded a few videos using the Stingray Plus housing from Light & Motion and the Fathom Wide-Angle 90 lens... but I am learning!

They are identical except for storage media.
CX has 64Gb of solid state.
+ maybe more reliable and less prone to shock damage
+ maybe uses less battery for longer shooting?
+ silent
+ slightly lighter
- less space (although I've never come close to filling it on a trip)
XR has 240 Gb of hard disk.
+ more space
- more noise inside the housing?
nothing really between them but I chose CX because I figured it might be slightly more reliable, although hard disks these days are very high quality.
