I had the chance to do a couple of Macro dives with my 60mm. Getting some practice in before Bali in 5 weeks.
Here are a few shots from today. Unfortunately I havnt got a copy of PS5 yet so all the shots are unedited.
My favourite for the day
Not so common Nudi at Byron. maybe Tritoniopsis elegans????
Regards Mark
Wow Mark, shooting macro again, never thought I'd see it! Nice shots. But where're all the ghost pipe fish, bumble bee and harlequin shrimp?
Where're you going in Bali? I know your not a fan of your 105mm, but while I was there my 60mm didn't come out of my bag, I just stuck with my 100mm L. You'll love it over there, although it's a lot different to diving Julian of course!

Hi Ryan,
Wrong time of year for OGP, I still havnt found a Harlequin Shrimp out at Julian Rocks as I am not keen at turning over rocks to find them. Hopefully I can get to the Sea whip Shrimp later in the week.
I am going to do a Bali Safari for 8 days with a day over at Nusa Penida and Manta Point, two days at Tulamben, and then have a look up the North Western Tip and maybe Secret Bay.
I dont mind using the 105mm, but I find the 60mm more versatile especially around Byron Bay. If I need the extra reach for shy critters the 105mm comes out. That reminds me I have to order the extension ring for it.
Cheers Mark
Lovely stuff Mark,
Could you tell us what fish does the eye shot belong to?
