How does this happen??

Yea, I too have the same problem. It is called to much camera crap. You have too many parts you forget what you have and end up replacing things that you already have. Or is it the start of dementia?

Well they are different sizes and different levels of wear so they are all different. Then when you pack ahead of time you think you are missing one (which fell into a recess of a bag) and order two just in case.

See Eric, sometimes a Daddy Ballhead Adaptor (that would be the tall one at the far left with the curved bottom edge) and a Mommy Ballhead Adaptor (that would be the next one in length, toward the middle with the straight edge), meet, and they really like each other. And after a while...

p.s. I think the 'daddy' is the 3rd one from the left, actually...the one with the big grin on its face.... But the middle length is definitely the mommy. With all those kids, some of them almost daddy's height, she's looking a little rough these days....
