  1. Just had my housing and took it for a swim this week. I was concentrating on the video, but took a few shots while I was down there.

This is Kukulkan Cenote in Mexico.

  2. Nice to see those images, I just came back from my "intro to cave" training in Playa and while I was there I notice how demanding must be to take good pictures in the cave environment.

It will take me some time to be ready to go with my camera into the cave.

  3. I shoot video in the Cenotes usually so while not massively different, it is another aspect to look at. Plus I've just got all my new toys which I need to get used to, controlling the 15mm is a challenge, but I love it's capabilities.

Will you continue to the full cave? Who did you do the Intro with?

Yes I will continue to full cave but not now. I want to go to Riviera Maya one more time only to dive the caves as an Intro, maybe next year, and then in another vacations go for the full cave. So it will take me at least two years to become a full cave. What is not too much for this kind of diving. I like to go slow but doing it right.

Me and my wife were trained by Nando from Protec.

  5. Looks like a cool spot to dive and photograph.

  6. Very cool shots! I defenetly need to visit them someday!!

I have seen some model pictures taken in cenotes wich were just incredible. These are allmost like built studios :)

  7. Easily the best asset of these systems is the light piercing through the water, it's truly incredible, but by the time I got in the water, the sun went in!

I'm there everyday working, but until I get a hard case for my rig, I don't take it with me all the time.

I'm hoping to get a few more shots captured that can hopefully do justice to these incredible systems.
