Cocoview next week

  1. I booked a last minute trip to Cocoview yesterday and will be there Nov 27 - Dec 11 so am busy packing and getting all the bits and pieces of my gear together. I was wondering if any coco nuts on this board can tell me if I can get away with just full foot fins, which I prefer, or if I need boots to wade out for shore diving. I'm trying to get everything in a single checked bag so if I can leave one set of fins at home so much the better. The good news is that Continental allows 18 kg for carry-on luggage which means I don't have to pretend that my camera/laptop bag is featherlight.

PS if anyone else is at cocoview let me know. I'll be traveling alone this time and a shore diving buddy who likes to go slow and likes fish ID and behavior would be neat.

  2. I used my full foots at Cocoview without a problem. Small pebbles on the shore entry's but no big deal.
