Do the Inon Z240’s work with the S&S YS TTL Converter/C

  1. Does anyone know or has tried the Inon Z240 type 4 with the Sea &Sea YS TTL converter for Canon.

     

    I have 2 YS250's working very nicely with the YS TTL Converter and 5DMkii (for macro use only) but I find them too big and heavy for macro work. My choices are either the YS110a or the Inon Z240 type 4's, I know that the YS 110a will work with the YS TTL Converter but I would prefer the Inon's Z240s, they seem to have a better reputation.

     

    If any one has tried this combo which settings worked best on the converter and also the strobe?

     

    (I have searched the forms but haven't found this topic covered, hope I didn't miss it)

  2. Slightly off-subject, I had the TTL synch port of my Sea & Sea housing rewired to take a simple straight strobe connection, thereby giving me two manual connections as I have on all my other housings.
