Nikon teleconverter TC-20E III on the Nikon 105 micro

Does anybody have experience using the new Nikon Af-S Teleconverter TC-20E III and a Nikkon 105 f/2.8G IF-ED micro?

On the Nikon website it is indicated that the autofocus can not be used.

Does the Kenko Teleplus pro 300 AF 2x allow autofocus? The website doesn't show compatibility with lenses.

Is the Kenko optically as good as the Nikon?

I can't even get the old Nikon 105 f2.8 to fit the new TC-20E III.

I do not own the Kenko 300 2x only the 1.4 which does fit and autofocus with the 105.

The TC III is a great optic though, works phenomenally well with my 70-200 VRII

I have the older AF 105mm Macro and AF doesnt work with the Kenko Pro 300. Why do you want to use a 105mm with 2x TC? Are you after 2:1 image size or need the really long focal length as it will be like a 210mm?? I use my Kenko 2x TC with my 60mm with success but a good foucsing light is needed.

I have a new 105 and a Kento 2:1. Works but you need a good focus light.

i have both tc's, the Nikon Af-S Teleconverter TC-20E III, it can only be used with the new 105vr and the auto focus works well, but with a (very) god focus ligth.

the new nikon 105vr also work's god with the kenko pro 300, (including auto focus) and you can use this tc with all lenses (i use it for cfwa).

the problem is the new nikon doesn't fit in all lenses like the kenko one.

Strange that the website claims that the autofocus doesn't work. You would assume that they are keen to add as many compatible lenses as possible.
