  1. WOW! This guy has a great story.

Check out his book, Polar Obsession. None of us have the cojones to go the lengths he does to capture those incredible images.

  2. I was able to see a presentation on a wall size screen at The Annenberg Space for Photography in Los angeles a few weeks ago. It featured Paul ( not in person) talking about this experience. I would recommend it to anyone in the area, to go if its still there. Imagine seeing some of those shots wall size! The seal seemed to have a crush on him, and was bringing him penguins in its mouth! His book is also amazing.

  3. By far one of the best and most dedicated wildlife photographer out there and a kind person on top of that, definitely proud to have him as a fellow countrymen.

If you can make the Annenberg exhibit in LA you should definitely go. His stuff is there and there are also a bunch of Clyde Butcher's prints. All of Paul's pictures look far better on-screen than in the prints but the opposite is certainly true with Butcher's black and white stuff. Amazing
