Canon 5d mark II, which equipment for pool

  1. Hi

Me and my friend want to start a project shooting girls in dresses diving in pools, for example wedding dresses.

Now he is professional photographer but never did under water.

Our plan is to use eqwa marine bag, because we wont go deeper than 4 metres anyway.

So what we wonder is what lights we should use.

We wnat to do something similar to these:

    Any hints ?

We would like to have flashes outside of pool to get thosee lightning from top effects.

any help for underwater-beginners appreciated :P

    Thanx

  2. Best of luck! First and foremost whatever you do BE SAFE. No electrical equipment that can fall into the water and kill you and your models.

Secondly, you'll want a wideangle zoom for this application - and that's not compatible w/ the EWA marine bag. You want something with a dome port - to avoid horrendous distortion.

Contact the wetpixel sponsors - you can get a long strobe sync cord to connect to your underwater camera housing - which will allow you to fire your Alienbees or whatever topside strobes you'll be using :-)

Good luck! Myself and Loftus here both have a lot of experience w/ these kind of shoots.

    Cheers

    James
