Hello, all. I have an Iridium satellite phone available for rent between now and the end of August.
Cost of use is $2/minute with 25 minute minimum charge ($50) per week, prorated. 1 week minimum. Text messages are charged to time (1/2 minute per text message).
Optional serial data kit, which uses a serial connection (or serial over USB). No tech support for data -- you are responsible for all drivers and software for data, if you choose to use it. I can confirm that it works, because I use it when I travel.
Extras: shipping, $500 refundable security deposit, and proof of travel insurance.
Please let me know if you are interested! Use http://wetpixel.com/contacteric/ to contact me. Thank you!
